As a facility manager, you want your employees to be ready for safety issues that impact your workplace, including AED management, maintenance and staff training. Because it’s your goal to enhance health and safety measures at your facility and reduce the time it takes to maintain and service AEDs, you may already know the benefits of an AED program management solution. You may also be a little confused by the different AED program management systems that are out there.
You may have heard about Rescue Ready® Services (RRS) products from ZOLL Medical which provides a one-stop-shop for managing AED devices. Their all-inclusive package makes it easy to keep AEDs inspected, consumables up-to-date, volunteer responders trained and AEDs managed and ready. This comprehensive solution includes PlusTrac™ Program Management which you are likely already familiar with.
So how is this different from the PlusTrac™ you know?
Guess what, now there is no difference.
Or at least the differences are minimal because PlusTrac™ is part of the Rescue Ready® Services portfolio that includes PlusTrac™ software for AED Program Management, PlusCare™ AED Service and Maintenance, and PlusLearning™ Training. Now you have even more options for service and support to meet the needs of your organization.
Interactive, web-based solutions
PlusTrac™ is an interactive, web-based platform that powers the AED program management experience. Consider PlusTrac™ the brains behind the operation. Featuring alerts, medical direction, and reporting capabilities, the software offers two platforms that easily and reliably manage your AEDs at a price that works for your situation.
PlusTrac™ Essentials is an affordable AED project management option aimed to cater to the DIY manager who wants to manage their own programs. The interactive, web-based system provides medical authorization. As a Class III medical device, an AED requires medical authorization at the time of purchase. PlusTrac™ Essentials provides a national medical director to oversee your program and local doctors to satisfy specific requirements.
PlusTrac™ Essentials also ensures that managers receive updates about FDA and manufacturer recalls and provides important email reminders and reports. Facility managers also gain access to the CheckAED mobile app, so they can perform AED inspections on the spot and receive alerts and notifications on their devices. Finally, PlusTrac™ Essentials provides customer support, should they ever need advice about the use or replacement of an AED.
PlusTrac™ Professional is designed for organizations that require ongoing support and service, whether they manage a single AED or large deployments around the globe. In addition to all the aforementioned PlusTrac™ Essentials benefits, the tool provides medical direction, including medical authorization, policy and procedure development and facility-specific response plans. PlusTrac™ Professional also provides virtual site assessments and post-event support. Finally, it provides agency notification and filing fulfillment, plus legislative and regulatory management.
Reliable AED service and maintenance
PlusCare™ offers reliable AED inspections, service and post-event support. It’s the on-site service and maintenance arm of Rescue Ready® Services that sends certified technicians to facilities to troubleshoot device issues, replace expired pads and batteries and more.
PlusCare™ Preferred offers facility managers all the tools and guidance you need to manage your own AED programs. It includes one annual inspection and service visit, site assessment and post-event review and loaner AED.
PlusCare™ Advanced provides complete peace-of-mind. The program includes annual maintenance, onsite service and accessory replacement. Like PlusCare™ Preferred, this package includes one annual inspection and service visit, site assessment and post-event review and loaner AED (inclusive of replacement accessories).
Flexible education and training options
PlusLearning™ is the education and training component of Rescue Ready® Services that coordinates AED/CPR/First Aid class schedules and certifications for your staff. PlusLearning™ is a nationally-accredited center that delivers training within 30 days. Classes leverage flexible training curricula that are provided in a hands-on, group-based environment by a professional educator with clinical or emergency medical backgrounds and at least five years of experience.
Organizations can start at a minimum class size of five attendees and expand to fit their needs. Additionally, facility managers can choose from learning options that fit their needs. Traditional courses are delivered at your facility by an instructor who teaches in-person. Online courses can be accessed anywhere, at any time and are great for remote employees, a single learner or used for recertification needs. Finally, blended courses are a self-paced option that can be taken at any time of the day via the online portal. Once the course is complete, an instructor will visit your location to verify knowledge and perform requisite skills for up to three students.
